Stupid Comment of the Day

I was at work today, and I walk into the break room to warm up my chicken noodle soup. A lady is standing at one microwave oven heating up her food, so I walked to the other microwave. I put my food in, hit a few keys on the microwave, and started heating my soup.

She's talking to some guy who's with her. She must be in her late 50's. She makes the following remark; "When god created the microwave...", making a reference to what life was like before and after "god made the microwave".

That's the dumbest remark I've heard all day. When god created the microwave. Yea. I can see god sitting in his garage tinkering with spare parts he had lying around, thinking to himself; "Gee - these humans could really use a gadget to help them heat food up real quick. Wonder what I can come up with here..."

And by all means - don't give any credit to the human engineers who really came up with the idea and INVENTED it.
